The 60oz Rump Steak Challenge is by far the biggest steak on our menu. Weighing in at a whopping 1.7kg+, this gigantic steak is not for the faint hearted!
This product is for our customers who said our 32oz Tomahawks and 30oz Rumps were mere starters and asked for a *real challenge*, so here it is! Our award-winning butchers take a grass fed 28 day aged Rump, cutting a full face, extra thick and superbly tender 60oz+ steak that you will struggle to fit on any plate.
Recommendations for cooking this steak are to reverse sear, starting by cooking on a high heat in the oven, then reducing the temperature allowing the meat to cook through – leaving you with the option to finish it in the oven, or crisp the outside on a BBQ or griddle pan if you have one big enough!
